Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in a care home or home care setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed. Help with serving light refreshments as per need of the residents. Maintain accurate records of client care plans and progress. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Support residents through the night. Adhere to health and safety regulations within the care environment. Cleaning Duties

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting. IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required. A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when necessary.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 44 per week
