Job Summary:

Welcombe Care are a domiciliary care company supporting service users across Stratford Upon Avon to live independently and remain in their own homes. We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and attentive Night Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and 1:1 support to a service user in their own home. In this role, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of those in your care throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor service users and respond promptly to their physical, emotional, or medical needs during the night. Assist with bedtime routines and morning preparations as required. Carry out regular checks on service users in accordance with care plans. Provide personal care, including toileting, repositioning, and hygiene support. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including logs of care provided and incidents. Report any changes in health or behavior to the senior staff. Follow all health and safety procedures and infection control protocols.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential. Strong observational, communication, and time management skills. Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor. Physically able to undertake tasks such as lifting, assisting, and standing for long periods. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

Working Hours:

Night shifts - typically 08:00PM - 08:00AM (with a degree of variation)
