About Hawthorn Court

Hawthorn Court is a 22-bed residential care home near Swansea, providing high-quality support for older adults, including those with dementia and complex needs. We're proud of our close-knit, supportive team who work together to deliver care built on dignity, respect, and compassion.

Your Role

Working one night shift per week, you'll:

Assist residents with personal care, mobility, and night-time routines Provide companionship and reassurance during the night Monitor wellbeing and respond promptly to needs Help residents prepare for the day ahead before handover Maintain a calm, clean, and safe environment overnight Work as part of a team to ensure continuity of care

What We're Looking For

? Previous experience in a UK care setting (

)
? Experience supporting people with dementia (

essential

)
? Calm, observant, and reliable under pressure
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
? Strong communication and teamwork skills
? Flexibility to cover weekends and public holidays as needed
