2 shifts per week | 19:30 PM - 07:30 AM | Rolling rota including weekends

About Hawthorn Court

Hawthorn Court is a 22-bed residential care home nestled just outside Swansea. We specialise in supporting older adults, many of whom live with dementia. Known for our warm, fast-paced environment and strong team spirit, we offer person-centred care in a setting where every resident is valued and respected.

What You'll Do

Deliver sensitive and respectful personal care throughout the night Assist with bedtime routines and early morning preparations Provide emotional reassurance to residents who may be unsettled overnight Monitor and report changes in residents' well-being Carry out light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and calming space Work as part of a close-knit night team, ensuring safe and smooth overnight care

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who's not only caring but confident and calm in a busy care environment.

You'll be a great fit if you:

Have at least 1 year's experience working in a UK care home (essential) Have supported individuals with dementia and understand their needs Stay composed under pressure and respond proactively to challenges Are a reliable team player with strong communication skills Take pride in supporting residents with empathy and respect Hold or are willing to work towards an NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care
