Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated

Night Care Assistant

to provide overnight support for our resident(s). This role involves ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of individuals in our care during the night. The successful candidate will be responsible for personal care, monitoring health needs, and administering medication as required.

Duties



Provide high-quality, person-centered care during night shifts. Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer prescribed medication safely and accurately. Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly. Follow care plans tailored to individual needs and complete care documentation accurately and on time. Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities. Monitor and record changes in clients' health and well-being, reporting any concerns to senior staff. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.

Requirements



Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of safe medication administration and care procedures or willingness to train. Ability to work independently and responsibly during night shifts. Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care. Relevant qualifications in health or social care desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to follow care plans accurately and adapt to changing needs of clients. Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential. Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we care for!

Pay: 12.60 per hour
