Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the wellbeing of those in their care. Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support individuals with mobility and daily activities according to personalised care plans Help clients with meal preparation and feeding as required Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Assist with medication management under supervision where applicable Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care

Skills

Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes Driving licence is desirable for roles involving home care visits Knowledge of care home procedures, care plans, and health & safety standards is advantageous Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in caring for others Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: 12.60-13.81 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 39 per week
