Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in our care home ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with our residents to assist with daily activities, implement care plans, and promote independence while fostering a positive environment.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the senior on duty. Foster a supportive and friendly atmosphere by engaging residents in conversation and activities. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the care environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation as required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various situations. Pay: 12.21 per hour
