Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Support individuals in maintaining their personal hygiene and overall health. Communicate effectively with residents to understand their needs and preferences. Follow care plans meticulously to ensure each resident receives tailored support. Document observations and report any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents at all times. Drive to various locations if required for home care services, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to schedules.

Skills

Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with residents and team members effectively. Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately. Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes. A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between locations. A caring attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in your care.

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
