Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team to work Night Shifts.

The night shift is from

8pm to 8am.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, and mobility assistance. Working closely with the Nurses and Carers to Maintain accurate records of care provided and update care plans as necessary. Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and other staff members through effective communication. Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by adhering to health and safety regulations and our policies Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to home care and IT systems used for documentation.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with residents and colleagues. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential.

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 48 per week
