Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their well-being and comfort. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
Responsibilities
Support the implementation of care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Document care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Skills
Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with residents and colleagues. Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with creating or following care plans is beneficial. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes are required. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and their families.
