Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and independence of clients by delivering personalised care in a professional and respectful manner. Responsibilities

Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Supporting clients to maintain their independence and dignity Implementing individualised care plans tailored to each client's needs Providing companionship and emotional support to clients Assisting with medication management as per care plans Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Communicating effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals Ensuring a safe and clean environment for clients at all times

Requirements

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for maintaining records and updating care plans Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing
