An Exciting Opportunity has arisen to work within St Johns Residential Care Home in the Manselton area, as a Night Care Assistant -20-hours per week.


St Johns supports older people and older people with lower-level dementia care needs, to stay for respite breaks, short term stays and long-term stays.


The support of the night team, led by the Night Care Officer, is a most important and valued role and is integral to the effective support of the individuals staying in the home.

You will be part of a team. You will be supported to do the right training, with the right support and gain the relevant understanding knowledge and skills for the role. You will receive a thorough & paid induction that includes working alongside others within the team who will help you learn about the role. You will receive regular supervision and guidance to help you along the way, offering you support and encouragement in your new role. Other benefits include the Excellent rate of pay with attached enhancements for weekend evening and bank holiday working, as well as an Excellent annual leave entitlement. You will have a Shift pattern and work 2 nights per week on a 20 -hour contract
