Overview

We are seeking a compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to individuals in our small residential care home. We currently look after 8 residents. If successful, the candidate will be working alongside 1 member of staff at night.

In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will be following care plans to deliver personalised care and support. Your ability to communicate effectively and drive will be vital in helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Monitor residents Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents Follow proper infection control procedures Follow individual care plans to ensure that each client's specific needs are met Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition. Adhere to health and safety regulations while providing care in home or care home settings.

Requirements

Previous experience in care home or a similar role is preferred. Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with clients and colleagues. Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs. A caring nature with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those you support.
