About the Role



We are seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to join our care home as a Full-Time Night Care Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for elderly care and strong leadership skills to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities



o Support with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.

o Maintain accurate care records and ensure compliance with all health and safety policies.

o Respond promptly to emergencies and liaise with healthcare professionals as required.

o Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.

o Assist with handover reports and ensure smooth communication between day and night teams.

o Night time domestic duties

Requirements



o Previous experience in a care assistant role, preferably within a residential home setting but not essential.

o Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care minimum Level 2 or equivalent desirable but not essential.

o Good communication skills.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

o Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to high standards of care.

o Willingness to work night shifts on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays as required.

Working Hours



This is a full-time position based on a 39-hour week. Typical night shift hours are from 20:00 to 07:15.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Work Location: In person
