Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and daily routines, promoting independence where possible Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met Maintain accurate care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for all Document care activities accurately using IT systems and communicate effectively with team members Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation

Skills

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to work effectively within a care home or home care setting Strong IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans digitally Good driving skills, with a valid driving licence preferred for transporting clients Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing Effective interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and their families Organised approach to managing daily tasks and documentation efficiently
This role is ideal for individuals who are caring, reliable, and eager to contribute positively to the lives of others. A background in care or related experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Work Location: In person
