Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in a care home or home care setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication reminders. Help maintain accurate care plans and documentation to track client progress and needs. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety standards.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members. Basic IT skills are advantageous for maintaining records and communicating within the team.
