We are currently looking for

Night Cleaner

to join us and be a part of the SCHLOSS Roxburghe Housekeeping team!

This part-time position is based on a

30 hour working week over 3 nights, shift hours are 9pm to 7.30am.

Availability to work nights, evenings and weekends is essential.

The position offers a competitive salary of

12.60 per hour plus gratuities

and excellent employee benefits.
Gratuities (tips) are an additional charge added onto services and are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. The amount is not guaranteed and is depended on service charge paid.*

As a SCHLOSS Roxburghe Night Cleaner you will be responsible for cleaning of the guest public areas according to the hotel's luxury standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

You will consistently ensure that all public areas are cleaned, prepared and presented to the luxury standards set out by SCHLOSS Roxburghe to ensure the best quality for our guests You will ensure that the furniture, equipment and appliances are in clean and flawless condition, well maintained You will interact with all guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner, looking to exceed their expectations You will bring your experience to identify and contribute innovative and practical ways to improve the overall quality and process within the department To report any faults or broken items to Night Team management You will ensure that all compliance, COSHH, and Health & Safety procedures are followed Ensure that all procedures concerning guest safety are followed including but not limited to; lost property, key control and confidentiality You will take pride in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all guest areas You will service guest public areas ensuring correct use of equipment, cleaning materials and guidelines You will assist the Housekeeping Management in maintaining hotel standards.

You are enthusiastic and have a positive personality with the ability to build genuine and trusting relationships You are a brilliant multi-tasker and able to organise your time effectively You have a key eye for detail and take pride in your work You enjoy working as part of a team as much as you enjoy working independently You have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels

Proven Experience/Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given Ability to communicate proficiently in English All applicants must have right to work in the UK
