The Salvation Army provides support and emergency accommodation for homeless adults within the Glasgow Area. We are looking to recruit a Concierge to join our team in William Hunter House Lifehouse.

Key Responsibilities:



Offer front of house services to clients ensuring they are signed in or out where required and their queries are handled in a professional manner, referring them to support staff where required Accurately record messages, conduct follow up telephone calls, update log books, handover and H&S records etc. Work with clients to resolve conflict using de-escalation skills where appropriate Complete building checks which may include patrols of the building Carry out some admin, cleaning and laundry duties

The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:



Motivation towards supporting vulnerable clients to achieve focussed and positive life outcomes Able to work within the ethos of The Salvation Army Non-judgemental and respectful approach to people with multiple and complex needs Good customer service and time management skills with ability to prioritise workload
