About You
We are looking to recruit a Night Conference Assistant to work as part of the team to set and check meeting spaces are ready for customers in line with their requirements according to the booking system and function sheets. Ensuring all equipment (including audio-visual) is in full working order and servicing the meeting spaces during the evening and overnight is a key aspect of the role to ensure the high standards at Warwick Conferences are maintained.


This role is vital for ensuring our meeting spaces are ready for customers. You will be working as part of a team of both contracted and Unitemps Conference Assistants. You will be required to work any 5 days in 7 predominately during evenings and overnight. On occasion this may include shifts at various timings dependant on business needs.


You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our meeting spaces and be a point of contact for our customers, providing advice and assistance, ensuring any queries are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will include setting up audio-visual and IT equipment according to customer requirements, troubleshooting any technical difficulties, and ensuring that rooms are arranged to meet specific needs. Attention to detail is key as you follow policies and procedures to maintain Warwick Conferences' exceptional standards. You'll handle radio calls, customer requests and telephone enquiries with efficiency and professionalism - always going the extra mile to meet their needs. Additionally, you'll contribute to the overall cleanliness and organisation of the meeting spaces, including storerooms and general tidiness.


In this role, you'll have the opportunity to utilise company vehicles for deliveries and equipment transportation. You'll also play a part in ensuring the security of the building and assisting with building closure procedures. To excel in this position, you should have excellent customer service and verbal communication skills. Experience using PCs and various applications is essential, and a willingness to stay updated on technical advances is highly valued. Attention to detail, the ability to follow policies and procedures, and flexibility in your work schedule are also important attributes. While knowledge of audio-visual equipment and possessing a full UK driving license are desirable, we also welcome applicants who meet the essential requirements and have a willingness to learn.
