Overview

We're on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced 360 crane driver to cover the daily operations in our yard. The perfect fit will help ensure that materials handling, shipping, and receiving processes are managed efficiently while also maintaining a safe and welcoming working environment. This role is key in coordinating activities within the yard and ensuring that everything runs smoothly for our team!

The role will be on nights initially but the possibility to go to days in the near future.

Responsibilities

Work closely with our Operations Manager Load Shredder with 360 Crane Enaure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are employed. Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to facilitate movement of materials within the yard. Maintain an organised yard environment, including proper storage of materials and equipment. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products and efficient workflow.

Skills

Experience in the scrap metal or waste management sector is crucial. Proficient in 360 Crane Capability to foster effective teams through leadership and communication. Knowledge of scrap yard settings, focusing on layout optimization for enhanced efficiency. Proficient in forklift operation, with preferred valid certification. Strong understanding of loading and unloading techniques to ensure safety during material handling.
