The Bread Factory is London's leading Artisan Bakery, known for award-winning breads, pastries, and cakes, supplying top-quality products across e-commerce, grocery, food services, and retailers such as our GAIL's Bakeries nationwide.


As our team grow, we seek our next Night Debrief Clerk to join our team.



Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:

Review and confirm that all required paperwork is completed correctly, including driver logs, delivery receipts, and any other relevant documentation. Provide drivers with feedback or guidance where necessary to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations. Oversee the daily activities and workflow of transport operations, ensuring the department runs smoothly and efficiently. Support the planning and coordination of transportation to ensure all vehicles are used efficiently and safely. Assist with charity collections and other ad hoc tasks as required by the transport or logistics team. Utilise transport-related systems such as

Tropos, Samsara,

and

Epods

to monitor deliveries, manage routes, and assist with administrative tasks. Maintain organised and accurate records of transport documents, including delivery schedules, driver paperwork, and incident reports. Review driver equipment and verify its condition, ensuring compliance with operational standards. Collaborate closely with the

Customer Care Team

to ensure accurate, timely delivery of customer orders and address any concerns or issues that may arise during or after delivery. Monitor and manage relevant emails and customer care queries, ensuring they are actioned promptly and appropriately. Ensure all customer bookings are made in advance and processed accurately to meet delivery schedules.
Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7, 10:00pm - 7:00am



Our team tells us you will be a great addition if you have....

Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and transport management systems such as Tropos, Samsara, and Epods. Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English, with the ability to interact effectively with drivers, customer care teams, and other stakeholders. Able to clearly convey information, resolve issues, and provide feedback to drivers and colleagues in a professional and helpful manner. Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and maintaining accurate records. Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues efficiently, with patience and resilience. Strong multitasking skills to manage competing priorities and ensure timely delivery of tasks and solutions. A high level of attention to detail in verifying driver documentation, maintaining records, and ensuring the accuracy of all operational data.
