Camlo Homes is a 20 bed residential care home for Mental health/Learning disability. We are based on the Ormeau Road.

Camlo is a privately run family run home. Camlo is currently seeking a care assistant for night duties 8pm-8am.

Duties to include:

To ensure that all night documentation is completed and signed for; Serving tea, coffee, traybakes etc for supper. Interacting with our residents on a personal level Helping our residents with personal support and care, Support & encourage residents to maintain their independence with daily living; Assisting washing and dressing residents; Encouraging independence as much as possible; Being aware and participating in the development of resident Care Plans and having full awareness of any specialist support needs. Be understanding and patient towards residents and their needs; To respect and maintain confidentiality of resident's personal information at all times. Checking and reporting any change in residents conditions to a senior care assistant. Keeping a close eye on the residents during the night, hourly checks.

Requirements:

Ability to work as part of a team and individually; Strong communication skills; Caring nature; Flexibility and be able to adapt to the needs of Residents;; Ability to communicate well, both written and verbally; Ability to organise and prioritise workload under pressure; A flexible and pro-active individual able to work in a team; The right to live and work in the UK.
Schedule:

12 hour shift Night shift Monday to Sunday Weekend availability
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.71 per hour
