We are looking for a Night Duty Officer to join our dedicated team within a residential care setting. This is a rewarding and meaningful role for someone who is motivated, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality care and support overnight.


What you'll do:


As a key member of our established night team, you will take a lead role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of our residents. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Promoting value-based care that supports independence and enhances quality of life Supervising and supporting night staff to maintain high standards of care Monitoring and guiding staff in manual handling and other safe working practices Assisting with medication administration and ensuring compliance with care policies Leading on care documentation, ensuring records are current and reflect best practice Working collaboratively with the manager to develop strong partnerships with families, professionals, and the wider community Ensuring Health and Safety standards are met at all times Taking responsibility for your own learning, supervision, and development

What we're looking for:

A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for care Experience working in a care setting - ideally in a supervisory capacity Sound understanding of care standards and legislation The ability to lead with professionalism, empathy, and confidence A flexible and reliable approach to night-time working
