We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities
Assist individuals with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the Team Leader.
Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, fostering a positive environment.
Help maintain cleanliness and organisation within the care setting, ensuring a safe environment for all.
Assist with mobility and transport of individuals within the facility as needed.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to protocols.
Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
A genuine passion for providing care and support to individuals in need.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations within a healthcare setting.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the needs of the home in an emergency or covering annual leave etc.

You will be required to achieve QCF in Health and Social Care if not already achieved. You will be expected to register with Social Care Wales for which you will receive training and appropriate support to meet the criteria. You will be expected to abide by the Social Care Code of Practice ( Wales)
