Food Production Night Hygiene Operative

Basic Salary :

12.21 per hour

Night Shift Premium:

0.60p per hour

Permanent:

A full time role, working 37.5 Hours a week

Working Patterns:

Saturday to Thursday (Nights Off Thursday and Friday)

Hours of Work:

21.00 pm to 5.00 am with one 30 minute unpaid break

Location:

Hooton Street, Carlton Road, Nottingham, NG3 2NJ

Working Environment:

Predominately based in a climate-controlled environment.

About the Role

You will work on the Night Shift working pattern, joining a team of Operatives who ensure the food production facility is cleaned to a very high standard and that all machinery is free of any contamination.

This role is on a full-time basis and you will be responsible for:

Adhering to health and safety regulations Following precise cleaning procedures Working safely with cleaning chemicals Recording jobs done on worksheets Identifying and reporting any damage found to the belts, machinery or equipment
Experience not essential as full training will be given.

About You

You will be an excellent team player, hardworking, reliable and be able to work at very high standards.

You will also possess good physical fitness as this role involves manual handling and excellent Numeracy and Literacy skills in order to prepare cleaning chemicals safely.

You must self-motivated team player with a positive "get stuck in" attitude to all cleaning jobs, with the ability to follow supervisor instructions and to work independently and demonstrate a commitment to food safety and hygiene.

Skills and Qualifications You Have

Basic understanding of English both reading and writing

Good team communication skills

Comfortable working on own initiative

Ability to read and understand procedural instructions which are written in English

Thorough and well organised

Food Safety Level 2 and/or COSHH Certifications would be ideal but not essential.
