Role Overview

We are currently looking for night time

Hygiene Operatives

with experience in industrial cleaning to join our production site in Hayes (UB3 3BL) on a permanent basis, working 5 days a week.

As part of our Hygiene team, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bakery, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sanitising surfaces and equipment. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment effectively and safely. Adhere to cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure compliance with hygiene standards. Deep cleaning of production areas. Collect, sort, and dispose of waste materials appropriately. Follow health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or incidents to the management team. Maintain records of cleaning activities, including checklists and logbooks. Report shortages of cleaning supplies or equipment Use specialised equipment such as pressure washers or steam cleaner.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Excellent command of English with ability to follow verbal and written instructions. A minimum of 6 months' experience in industrial cleaning. Basic understanding of hygiene and cleaning standards, especially in regulated environments. Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional info

5 shifts of 8.5 hours per week organised through a weekly rota and including weekends. Must have the right to work in the UK.
