Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to elderly individuals, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties:

- Manage and administer medications.

- Lead Care Staff Team.

-Liaise with MDT (District Nurses etc)

-Facilitate GP reviews

Respond to changing needs of residents

- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medications and assist with medication management
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and assisting residents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client care activities

Skills:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathy and compassion for elderly individuals
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Patience and understanding in dealing with challenging situations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules

Pay: 13.44 per hour

Expected hours: 33 per week
