We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse specialising in Palliative Care to join our healthcare team. This role requires a deep understanding of anatomy and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care tailored to individual patient needs.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in palliative settings, focusing on pain management and symptom relief. Assess patient conditions and develop tailored care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Educate patients and their families about palliative care options, treatment plans, and coping strategies. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Advocate for patients' needs and preferences, ensuring their voices are heard in care decisions. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and improve service delivery.

Experience

A valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is essential. Previous experience in palliative care or a related field is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, particularly as it relates to end-of-life care. Proven ability to provide compassionate patient care while managing complex emotional situations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families. Experience working within a multidisciplinary team is beneficial.
