We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our nursing team on a full-time night shift basis. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong background in nursing home settings who is passionate about delivering safe, person-centred care to our residents.
You will play a vital role in leading the night team, ensuring high clinical standards are maintained, and supporting both residents and staff throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Lead the night care team, providing clinical guidance and support.
Administer medication and maintain accurate records in line with NMC guidelines.
Carry out assessments, care planning, and reviews.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and liaise with external healthcare professionals.
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and home policies.
Requirements
NMC Registered Nurse (RGN) - Essential.
Minimum 4 years of nursing experience in a nursing home setting.
Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Compassionate, professional, and committed to delivering high standards of care.
