,Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team at The Fauld Nursing Home working 12 hour nights shift 6.45pm to 6.45am for 1, 2 or 3 days. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and will be knowledgeable in anatomy and medical procedures. This role is essential in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our service users, offering support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.

Duties

- Deliver high-quality service user care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.

- Implement service users care plans.

- Conduct thorough assessments of service user' health status, documenting findings accurately.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for both service user and staff.

- Respond promptly to service user's needs and concerns, ensuring a supportive atmosphere.

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.

Experience

- Previous experience in a nursing role is preferred but not essential for newly qualified nurses.

- Strong knowledge of patient care protocols and anatomy is required.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

- Ability to manage stressful situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
