We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Nurse/Paramedic to join our Healthcare team at HMP Eastwood Park, a Female Remand Prison located in Falfield, Gloucester.



The prison houses around 360 patients - This will all be patients that are waiting to be sentenced. Based in a rural location so own transport is essential.

Working Hours

Monday -Sunday : 3 X 11.5 hour shifts a week- 34 hours.

Salary

This position is full time working 34 hours per week, you'll receive an annual salary up to 43,534pro rata- depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

You will be a registered nurse with current NMC registration looking to develop your current skills in a unique and ever changing environment.

You'll receive an annual salary up to 41,265per annum pro-rata- depending on experience.

Qualifications required

Registered nurse - Adult or Mental Health Current professional qualification (NMC) Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working A non-judgmental and compassionate approach Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
