We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and guest services within our establishment. As a Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a pleasant experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their luggage as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby and common areas, ensuring a welcoming environment. Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation options to guests. Assist with phone inquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing guest needs. Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest experiences and satisfaction. Handle guest requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring all needs are met during their stay. Monitor the condition of facilities and report any maintenance issues to management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to handle inquiries professionally. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the role.
