Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. This role is crucial in maintaining the hotel's standards of hospitality and cleanliness, contributing to an outstanding guest experience.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in public areas, ensuring a tidy environment for guests. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Assist with the transportation of guests' belongings to their rooms or designated areas. Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards within the hotel premises. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable, enhancing communication with diverse guests. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
