Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Night Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and clean environment for our guests. As a Porter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and guest services, contributing to an outstanding experience for all visitors. You will need a driving licence and be able to move throughout hotel locations through the night. This position requires someone who is proactive, attentive to detail, and possesses excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their luggage or belongings. Help laundry team by performing laundry and cleaning duties throughout the night. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance, and public areas. Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to guests. Assist with phone inquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Fix maintenance issues to a competent level until maintenance staff are present. Monitor the condition of the hotel premises and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

You will need a driving licence, van can be required. Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Multilingual abilities are a plus; bilingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply. A professional appearance and demeanour that reflects the hotel's standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required. A commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Shifts are 5 days a week 10pm until 7am. Days will be discussed. Will include weekends.
