We are currently looking to recruit a

Night Registered Nurses

49-bed,

care services in the town of

Crook in County Durham

, dedicated to a range of personal care needs for people with old age related frailties and disabled people also.

We have

full time night shifts available




Night shifts,12-hour shift, 8pm-8am




Pay rate is between 20-21 per hour

About you:




An Registered General Nurse , with experience in a care home setting caring for older people Hold a

valid UK NMC PIN ( no restrictions)

Ability to work on shift/rota pattern. Have the right to the work in the UK Experience in a similar role Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents. You will have excellent communication skills You will work well within the team, leading, supporting and training junior staff members, You will have previous experience in motivating the team.

Information about the Role:




Working as an RGN Nurse (Registered General Nurse)




Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long term service users. Behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times and in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code. Be competent and confident in managing people with long term health conditions. Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate interventions/treatments for service users with complex needs. Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for service users (as appropriate). Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care. Recognise and work within own competence level Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures. Support, manage and guide support workers on a daily basis. Continual personal development to develop oneself and the role. You will dispense and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records You will carry out stock control and ordering of resident's prescribed medication and medical products You'll need to understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health and Safety, COSHH, and all aspects of the care Standards Act.
