The Beeches Residential home is a small home based in Armthorpe. We are looking for a reliable and caring Senior Carer who is able to accommodate Senior and Care shifts on Nights. We are looking for a Senior Carer who wants to make a difference by contributing to providing the best care possible at all times for our residents. In this role, you would play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a supportive environment.
Duties
Support residents with personal care tasks, including bathing and dressing.
Support residents in daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
Supervise and mentor staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in senior care practices.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home environment.
Experience
Previous experience in a senior care role or similar position is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising staff or volunteers.
Strong IT skills for maintaining electronic records and care plans.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with residents and their families effectively.
A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to seniors is essential.
