We are a 20 bed Learning Disability Residential Home in Scunthorpe. We pride ourselfs in excellent person centered care and are excited for a new member to join our amazing team here at Sunningdale Court.

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in our care home.

Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and guidance to the care team

- Develop and implement care plans for residents, ensuring their individual needs are met

- Supervise and assist with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals

- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature

- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents

- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals

- Utilize IT systems for documentation and record keeping

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is required

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others

- Medication trained, perfered a minium of 1 years experience

- Knowledge of care planning processes and procedures

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Familiarity with care home regulations and best practices

- Valid driver's license is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.25 per hour
