Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Night Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Trentham House Care Home in Trentham Stoke on Trent. This role is vital in ensuring high standards of care and support for our residents. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining our reputation for excellence in elderly care.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care. Support residents with daily activities, promoting independence and well-being. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Foster a positive environment that encourages resident engagement and family involvement. Assist in training new staff members and support ongoing team development. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Uphold health and safety standards across the care home.

Qualifications

Proven experience in senior or supervisory roles within a nursing care home setting. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and colleagues. Valid driving license (preferred but not essential). IT literacy for documentation purposes. Compassionate attitude with a commitment to high-quality elderly care.

Pay: 13.87 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 48 per week

Senior Care Nursing Home: 1 year (required)
