Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance, particularly seniors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of clients by following care plans and maintaining a safe, supportive environment. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to supervise and lead care activities effectively.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring their comfort and safety. Supervise clients during activities to promote independence while ensuring their safety. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on client status and any changes in condition. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any significant observations regarding the client's health or behaviour. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Foster a positive environment that encourages social interaction and emotional support for clients.

Experience

Previous experience in senior care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide others in providing excellent care. Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining records and communication is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy, patience, and understanding when dealing with clients.
