About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Night Senior Health Care Assistant
to join our care home team in Gateshead. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced care professional with an NVQ Level 3 qualification who is passionate about delivering high-quality care during the night shift.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the night care team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care. Assist with personal care, medication administration, and daily living activities. Conduct regular checks on residents and respond promptly to their needs throughout the night. Maintain accurate and detailed care records in line with regulatory standards. Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring policies and procedures are consistently followed. Support the nurse/manager on duty in maintaining a safe and caring environment.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
(essential). Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a care home setting. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Compassionate, reliable, and committed to person-centred care. Flexibility to work44 hours per week
