Summary

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate and dedicated Night Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Bethshan Nursing Home. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing personalised care and support in our nursing home setting.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support. Implement individualised care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' well-being. Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to nursing staff. Provide leadership and guidance to junior care staff. Deliver high-quality senior care services in accordance with established standards. Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes

Requirements

Previous experience in Senior caregiving or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of patient care practices and principles. Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of dementia care practices is an advantage. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development. Experience in supervising or leading a care team is advantageous Level 3 medication administration training Cert.
