Control Room Operator

Location: Northwest, UK Job Type: Part-time Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (includes nights and weekends) Pay Rate: 13.50 - 15.00 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, professional Control Room Operator to support our growing operations across the Northwest. You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of security, safety, and customer service within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will also be required to liaise effectively with emergency services, manage conflict professionally, and remain calm and decisive in high-stress situations.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV, alarms, and site activity in real time

Conduct regular site patrols

Manage access control

Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies

Coordinate with emergency services when required

Complete, clear, and accurate incident and site reports

Act as a visible deterrent to crime and anti-social behaviour

Follow assignment instructions and site procedures

Deliver excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff

What We're Looking For

Valid SIA Door Supervisor, Security Guarding, or Close Protection Licence

Valid Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) Licence

Minimum 1 year of security experience (required)

Minimum 1 year of control room experience (required)

Full UK driving licence (required)

Access to own transport (preferred)

Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends

Strong communication and customer service skills

Professional appearance and positive attitude

Ability to manage conflict and remain calm under pressure

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
