The Night Receptionist is the face of the gym during overnight hours. You'll ensure that members feel welcome and safe, assist with any issues or inquiries, maintain a clean and organized facility, and help support basic operational tasks such as cleaning, restocking, and merchandise sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet all members and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide assistance with membership inquiries, issues, and general customer service.
Monitor entry and exit of members to ensure security and proper access.
Keep the gym floor tidy by re-racking weights, wiping down equipment, and ensuring all areas are clean and organized.
Perform light cleaning duties as required (e.g., vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, emptying bins).
Process sales of drinks, snacks, and merchandise.
Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to management.
Ensure all opening and closing checklists are completed for your shift.
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service or a gym/reception environment (preferred but not required).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and stay alert during night hours.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills.
A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for fitness and helping others.
