Night Shift Logistics Bakery Assistant - Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available

Full-Time and Part Time | 16- 40 hours per week | Flexible schedule | 14 per hour

At Company Bakery, we are known for our exceptional sourdough and pastries, handcrafted using traditional techniques and sustainable ingredients. Our bakery operates overnight to ensure fresh deliveries across centrak Scotland. As we expand, we are looking for Night Shift Logistics Bakery Assistants to support our growth.

Since launching in 2017, we've built a team of over 65 employees, serving hundreds of customers weekly. Sustainability is at the core of our business--we operate an electric fleet, work with ZeroWaste Scotland, and are introducing a new employee wellbeing package that includes private healthcare, in-house workshops, and career development opportunities.

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and thrives in a structured night shift environment. You will be responsible for packing and preparing bakery orders overnight, ensuring smooth operations for our morning deliveries. For three hours of your shift, you will be working solo, so self-motivation and a strong sense of responsibility are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately pack bakery orders, ensuring they meet our quality standards. Manage the dispatch of all products to Glasgow and early drop customers Organise and prepare packing supplies for the next shift and delivery to Edinburgh Arrange orders for pickup by the delivery team. Track stock levels and report discrepancies. Maintain a clean and organised packing area. Assist night bakers where possible on the bread and pastry bake

Requirements

Ability to work independently, especially during solo shifts. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Reliable and committed to night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM). Ability to commute to Musselburgh.

Availability

Both full-time and part-time positions available (dependant on applicants). Minimum of 16 hours per week, up to 40 hours per week.
