The Role

We are seeking a reliable and meticulous Night Shift Production Operative to join our team. This is a crucial role responsible for the overnight production and assembly of our picture frames. You will play a key part in ensuring our orders are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Permanent nights - 23:00 - 08:00, 45 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing and Assembly: Operate machinery and use hand tools to cut, assemble, and finish picture frames according to precise specifications.
Quality Control: Inspect all materials and finished products for defects, ensuring they meet our strict quality standards.
Order Fulfillment: Work from daily production schedules to complete customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintenance: Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of tools and machinery to ensure they are in good working order.
Health and Safety: Adhere to all company health and safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
Teamwork: Communicate effectively with the day shift team and supervisors to ensure a smooth handover of tasks.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Ability to work during night hours.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
A reliable and punctual approach to work.
Desirable:

Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or similar hands-on role is required.
Experience in the picture framing or a related industry.
Familiarity with operating woodworking machinery (saws, etc.).
