Overview:

Job Summary:



As the Night Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and secure running of the hotel during night time hours. You will act as the main point of contact for guests, manage overnight operations, and ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all guests. Duties include supervising the venue, preparing for morning services and functions, handling reservations, and performing safety and cleanliness checks.

Key Responsibilities:



Guest Service & Front Desk Duties



Serve as the first point of contact for guests during the night. Assist with late check-ins and early check-outs. Handle guest queries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner. Respond to guest emails and manage online/phone reservations. Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through excellent service.

Venue Supervision & Safety



Conduct regular patrols of the building and property to ensure security and safety. Monitor fire panels, alarms, and emergency exits. Ensure all doors, windows, and entrances are locked and secure. Report and log any maintenance or safety issues to management.

Operations & Setup



Set up for morning functions, meetings, or events as required. Prepare the breakfast area and assist with initial breakfast service setup. Assist with the general cleaning of the restaurant, bar, and outside venue areas. Ensure the premises are clean, tidy, and ready for the next business day.

Bar & Beverage Service



Prepare and serve drinks, including alcoholic beverages and hot drinks like coffees and teas. Ensure compliance with licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol.

Administrative Duties & Handover



Handle and respond to email enquiries and bookings during the night shift. Maintain an accurate night report and ensure an efficient and informative handover to day management. Log any incidents, maintenance issues, or notable events in the handover book/system.

Skills & Qualifications:



Previous experience in hospitality, preferably in a night supervisor or front desk role. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of safety and security procedures. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Barista or drink service experience is desirable. Basic computer literacy (email, booking systems, Word/Excel). First Aid and/or fire safety training (desirable but not essential).

Work Conditions:



Night shifts including weekends and public holidays. Standing and walking for extended periods. Working alone and occasionally with a small team. May require some lifting or moving of furniture/equipment for setup tasks.
Pay: Competitive hourly rate

Full Time Role, working 5 out of 7 days
