What You'll Be Doing

Support children with nighttime routines and respond to any needs during the night Encourage independence and build confidence through calm, consistent care Follow and maintain personalised care plans in collaboration with each child and their support network Provide emotional reassurance and create a peaceful, nurturing overnight environment Assist with early morning routines and help children prepare for the day ahead Keep accurate, timely records of care and interactions during the shift Use IT systems for documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures
Shift Pattern & Pay

12.5-hour shifts: 8:00pm - 8:30am Average of 3-4 shifts per week Pay range: 12.44 - 15 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and skillset
What We're Looking For

Experience working with children or in a residential/childcare setting is highly desirable Strong verbal and written communication skills for connecting with children, families, and professionals Confidence in following and contributing to individualised care plans Comfortable using IT systems for clear, consistent documentation A valid driving licence is preferred to support transport needs Compassionate, trustworthy, and grounded--especially during quiet or challenging overnight hours
