Due to retirement we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to individuals between two Residential care homes. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to maintain their dignity and quality of life.
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.
Monitor and document client progress and changes in behaviour or condition, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Attend appointments and support individuals with activities.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in supporting adults who have a diagnosis of mental health is preferrable.
Knowledge of medication administration is advantageous.
Training relevant to the role to be undertaken and Register with Social Care Wales.
Strong understanding of how best to support individuals with mental health.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for client support if required.
