What you will be doing:



Support work isn't just making cups of tea and personal care. It is about enhancing the lives for people living with emotional, physical and sometimes complex disabilities. We are seeking a

committed and compassionate carer

to join a care team supporting a

female adult in her 30s

who lives at home with her partner on a

small farmstead near Watton

. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone's life by providing both high-quality clinical care and holistic support for overall health and wellbeing.

The individual has

complex care needs

, including:

Oxygen therapy

Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV)

Catheter care

Specialised dietary regime


As a carer, you will support her not only with these medical needs but also with

daily living activities

, promoting

independence

and empowering her to live life to the fullest.

She is sociable, enjoys spending time in the community, and has a

wheelchair-accessible vehicle

, which is used for both

social outings and medical appointments

. For this reason, applicants

must have a full UK driving licence and at least 2 years of driving experience

for insurance purposes, and should be

confident driving an adapted vehicle

.

Key Details:



Shifts:

12-hour shifts,

8:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM

Location:

Rural setting near Watton, Norfolk (driver essential)

Schedule:

Flexibility required, working as part of a rota
All positions can be given as a contracted fixed rota position or on a casual basis if preferred.

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010.*
