35 hours per week

Shifts:

10:00 PM - 8:00 AM | 3 nights on, 3 nights off

Contract:

Permanent, Full-Time

Rota:

Includes weekends and public holidays on rotation

About Towy Castle

Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential care home nestled in three acres of landscaped gardens, overlooking the scenic Towy estuary. We specialise in high-quality residential and dementia care for older adults and have proudly supported our community for over 35 years. Our long-standing team is known for its professionalism, warmth, and person-centred approach.

Your Role

As Night Shift Team Lead, you'll play a key leadership role--ensuring the care team is supported, residents are safe and comfortable, and high standards are upheld throughout the night.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and supporting the night care team Providing hands-on assistance with personal care and mobility Monitoring residents' health and responding to care needs Managing and recording incidents or concerns appropriately Ensuring accurate and timely completion of documentation Maintaining a safe, calm, and respectful environment Ensuring thorough and effective handovers to day staff

What We're Looking For

Experience in a senior care or team leadership role (essential) Confident working in a fast-paced environment with older adults and those living with dementia NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) preferred Strong communication, organisation, and decision-making skills Calm, proactive, and compassionate approach to leadership Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays on a rota
